Three houses, one homeland
Dinner is paired with wines from three Serbian houses, from the slopes of Fruška Gora to the hills of Šumadija.
A family estate on the sunny southern slopes of Fruška Gora, where vines have grown since Roman times. Deurić is known for its Chardonnay, for the native Probus grape, and for its sparkling wine.
A hilltop estate in the heart of Šumadija, ringed by its own vineyards. Eden pours Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot and Cabernet from grapes picked by hand and aged in a barrel cellar cut into the hill.
The revived Venčac winemaking cooperative of 1903, which once counted King Petar I among its members. Legat 1903 brings Chardonnay, Viognier and Pinot Noir from the same Šumadija hills, more than a century on.
